Exercise is an important part of achieving and maintaining
better overall health and wellness. A regular exercise routine has been
shown to improve bone density, range of motion, flexibility and even our
mood. Using light weights and resistance elastics, our fitness program is
led by our staff in both seated and standing formats in order to
accommodate seniors at different physical levels, encouraging participants
to achieve better health and wellness. Whether you exercise regularly or
not at all, this program is a fun and healthy way to start the day!

Facilitated by our staff, Women’s Group is a wonderful way
for our residents to bond and become part of the Christopher Heights
community. The agenda of this group’s meetings ranges from having guest
speakers to discussing topics of interest to reminisce discussions. The
goal of this group is to share personal experiences and goals with our
peers in a supportive environment. |

Led by the President of Resident Council, who is nominated
and elected by Christopher Heights’ residents, this dynamic group meets
monthly and is open to all residents. Giving our residents a vehicle for
voicing their recommendations and ideas for change is the best way for us
to meet our clients’ changing needs and expectations. |

Faith and religion are a very important part of most
seniors’ lives. We provide an opportunity for our residents to attend
regularly scheduled onsite prayer service, mass, communion service and
rosary group in order to satisfy the desire to be connected to their
particular faith. | |
