Day at the Beach
On August 26th, residents of Christopher Heights took
a trip to the ocean. The destination was Rye, New Hampshire. The residents
enjoyed a scenic ride along the coastline of New Hampshire with a stop at
Hampton Beach. There was time to sit on the benches and enjoy the ocean
breeze, sunshine and blue skies. The weather was perfect. The day ended with a
"Harborside Luncheon" at Saunders restaraunt in Rye, N.H., where
lobster was surely the favorite on the menu. The food was excellent
and the view breathtaking.
It was a perfect way to end the
summer.

Men's
Club: B-17 Airplanes
Christopher Heights held it's monthly
luncheon of the Men's Club on January 16th. Bud, a resident here shared a
video with us about B-17 Airplanes which he flew in the
war.
Bud also brought a
model of a B-17 plane so residents had a chance to see it. It was a great
sharing experience for them. Men and women shared their stories.
From working on brakes and landing gears of the planes, to flying
them or knowing someone who did. What a small world. Thanks to
Bud and all the residents who shared their stories with
us.
