Residents and Staff competed in the first annual door decorating contest. From the traditional wreath to more elaborate decorations, everyone had a great time planning, decorating and voting!! There was two resident winners Mary J. with her tree of family picture ornaments and Hazel R. with her cozy fire place and the staff winner was Jackie R. from housekeeping with the meaning of Christmas. |

| Christopher Heights Gives Back |

On November 15, 2008 residents and staff prepared 40 boxes to send to soldiers serving in Iraq. Thank you to all the residents, families and staff at all Christopher Heights for making “Christopher Heights Gives Back” such a success! |

| Apple and Pumpkin Picking |

In October we went apple and pumpkin picking at Tougas Family Farm in Northborough. The weather was not the greatest that day but we managed to get the job done. With the apples, we made apple pie and turnovers and decorated the pumpkins. |

Sunday September 7, celebrated Grandparents Day, and what better to celebrate than with family and food, do that’s what we did. From fresh fruit, pastries, omelets to order, ham carving station, potatoes and vegetables, nobody left hungry. |

| Summer Luau |

August 7 was a rainy day but you never would have known it at our Luau, the sun was definitely shining! We enjoyed coconut shrimp, fresh fruit, sweet and sour pork, strawberry daiquiris, and topped it all off with some hula dancing! What a great afternoon.

| 4th of July family BBQ |

On June 28th, we had our first 4th of July family BBQ. Great food and music by Dave Burns was enjoyed by residents, families and staff. A local Junior girl scout troop also joined us and provided face painting for the children and residents alike. |

| Mother’s Day Tea |

On May 3, 2008 all of our residents enjoyed our first tea in honor of Mother’s Day. Brownie Troop #2829 joined in the festivities providing the tea and the treats. A great and memorable day was had for all mothers. |

| Marlborough Grand Opening |

The Grand Opening the newest Assisted Living Facility in Marlborough, Mass took place on Friday April 18th. Tours of the building were given, great food was served and a ribbon cutting ceremony followed.
Both the event and the facility were very impressive. |
