Excellence in Caregiving Luncheon

November has been designated as Alzheimer's Awareness Month and we want everyone to know that it is the caregivers who, with their unselfish devotion, make the difference in the lives of their loved ones day after day after day.

To honor their commitment, The Eastern Regional Office of the Alzheimer's Association is hosting the first Excellence in Caregiving Luncheon in the Northeast. It will be held on November 9, 2006 at the beautiful Inn at Woodstock Hill, Connecticut, starting at 11:30.

The event is a special tribute to all of those nominated by their peers, or by family, who appreciate all they have done to care for a loved one with alzheimer's or a related disorder. The nominee could be a husband or wife, a son or daughter, a sister or brother, or someone in the healthcare profession - anyone who goes above and beyond their daily duties to provide extraordinary care. All those nominated will be honored that day!

Your nomination should be limited to 75 words and provide the name, address, telephone number and position of the nominee, (i.e. Home Health Nurse, Private Care Manger, Social Worker,Son, Daughter, etc.) It should also include your name, address, and phone number.

Lunch for all attendees is $20.00. Please make your check payable to the Alzheimer's Association. Please register before the event if you plan to attend. Honorees may bring one or two family members if they wish at the $20.00 price.
