Delivery Supplies to NE Home for the Deaf

New England Home For The Deaf, Danvers, MA

Delivering supplies after the recent explosion

As a result of the recernt explosion in Danvers, Massachusetts in September, many residents living at the New England Home for the Deaf were displaced from their home. The facility suffered severe damage and all of the residents had to be re-located to a newrby nursing home in Essex. Fortunately no one was seriously injured, but broken glass was lodged in clothing and bedding.

Christopher Heights became aware of this situation when "Rich the Fishman", provider of our fish tank, was there to service the fish tank at the home. His call to Executive Director Tom McMullen was a request to help any way that we could.

Coordinated by Ray Laffierre, Christoher Heights delivered a van full of clothing, houskeeping supplies and other necessities which were then delived to many thankful people on November 30, 2006
