Kristy Walley, activities assistant at
Christopher Heights in Webster just graduated with honors with a
degree in Early Childhood Education from Quinsigamond Community
College. She was a student teacher at the
Early Childhood Education lab at school, and her dream job would be to work in
the full day program at QCC.
Due to her excellence in the classroom and
as a student teacher, Kristy was chosen as the Carol Lawson Scholarship
winner.
Kristy has been an activity assistant at
Christopher
Heights in Webster for one
and a half years and we are all very proud of her accomplishments.

Heights in Webster recently
attended A Map Through the Maze an interdisciplinary conference for
professionals presented by the Alzheimer s Association.
The Keynote speaker was Laurel Coleman, MD,
Geriatric Physician from Lewiston , Maine and a board member of the National
Alzheimer s Association. She spoke on Improving Care For People with
Advanced Dementia, and then the conference went into break-out
sessions.
Carolyn received 4.75 CEU s for the
conference.

Stephen
Soltys
ServSafe Certilficate
On April 25th, 2007,
Stephen Soltys, the Executive Chef at Christopher Heights in Webster, successfully completed
the ServSafe course.
ServSafe is an 8 hour food safety and sanitation course
that all chefs and cooks are required to take every 5 years.
Five months prior, Stephen s assistants successfully
completed the ServSafe course.
Although only one person per establishment is required
to be certified, all three of the chefs at Christopher Heights in Webster are
certified.
